Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023) Years pass, and as the Motherworld evolves into a powerful empire, Kora lives a peaceful life as a farmer on the independent planet Veidt with her close friends Gunnar and Hagen. The inhabitants of Veidt are visited by Imperium forces led by Atticus Noble, Balisarius' advisor and a high-ranking admiral. Atticus orders the public execution of a defiant villager and declares his intention to force Veidt's populace to submit. Later that night, Kora is forced to kill a group of Imperium soldiers after one of them harasses a local farm girl named Sam, nearly causing her neighbors to turn on her out of fear.
